Chocolate Night with Akumaa Mama Zimbi is an annual event held on every 14th Febuary for singles. The Chocolate Night-2008 event was a very memorable night for many Ghanaians who expressed their love and celebrated the Val's because the most romantic voice on radio and Doctor of love and sex, Akumaa Mama Zimbi occasioned the day in a grand and memorable style at the EarlBeam Basement Night Club with numerous foreigners and Ghanaians.
In a short press briefing after the show, Akumaa Mama Zimbi stated that, ‘I wish that every 14th February, will go beyond the celebration of love and chocolate, and be declared as National Condom Day. My aim is to make the youth accept that, anytime you think about love, you must think about condom. And since love is inevitable, the use of condom is inescapable in this present generation.' The night which was filled with laughter, dancing and surprises gave people the opportunity to learn about the use and essence of condom, and also gave them the chance to learn how to properly wear a condom from the most experience sex doctor.
The hundreds of funs and celebrants who honoured the romantic night were astonished at the number of gifts and surprises they enjoyed from Cocoa Processing Co. Ltd., T.T Brothers, High Grade Cakes, Joe's Kitchen and Vogue Magazine. Though, most singles who were at the show had partners for a long lasting relationship, the wonderful couples present were given gift items for taking the bold step as husbands and wives. In an interview with some of the foreigners at the show, they revealed their surprise at such a frank and exciting show in Africa, and promised to come to Ghana next year to celebrate the Chocolate Night with Akumaa Mama Zimbi.
